I thought Doctor Who was making it up, but bees really are disappearing. Huh.

*sigh* I need to start watching Doctor Who. I keep just catching an episode here and there.

Yes, Neil Gaiman's blog had a bit about the disappearing honey bees a few months ago that brought it to my attention. Interesting stuff especially since no one can really say why they're disappearing.

I still remember the "Killer Bees" (Oh noes the killer bees of death!!!) scare from my youth and now the bees are dying.

Yeah, I remember the killer bee panic.

Doctor Who is good times, and now is good to catch up because we've just started a long wait between seasons while David Tennant does Hamlet.

I try to watch TV shows through my Blockbuster Online account and I had added all the Doctor Who on there. Then Blockbuster started to send me Season Two because apparently all their Season Ones (I assume they must have only one set in this case and someone refuses to watch it and return it) were "long wait". I didn't want to watch season two before season one. This messed up the queue so I ended up just watching Dexter (which is OMG fantastic--a show about a serial killer).

Maybe I can rent the discs from the actual store instead...hmmm...

Totally recommend Dexter...even with all the blood
