Game quotes

Katie: "And vampires don't give cookies."
Rew: "WTF? No orange juice?!"

~*~

Katie uses her elemental mastery to speak to the altar at the cultists' worship site. The thing is totally insane (wouldn't you be, after millennia of having people gruesomely murdered upon you?)
Katie: "Who is Ithayel?" (the god of aforementioned cultists)
Altar: "Me!"
Katie: "And what do you do?"
Altar: "I lay here."

~*~

Following another use of elemental mastery...
Rew: "The tree just called you a dumbass."

At what in particular? Or everything?

Yep. We're a fun bunch.

I remember! *chuckles fondly*

still needed some tweaks though... but I do wonder what would have happened if you had have been in the game I ran.

And will run again if I can ;)

"I do wonder what would have happened if you had have been in the game I ran." ... "the DnD game I ran for you and Rew."

... But... I _was_ there.

the you in that case was referring to the lot of you.

Katie especially.

Ah. Y'all. Stupid imprecise English language.

The only thing I'm certain of is that a whole lot less would have gotten done.

[identity profile] alphadsnz-fb.livejournal.com 2006-08-24 07:01 pm (UTC)(link)
heh - quite possibly. As I don't give a clear line of what needs to be done but let you guys choose the mission.

Once on the mission, you have a clear objective. How you get that - well... that's your business!

Which is the opposite of how Jordan tends to do things: there's _one_ "mission" (and we're almost never told exactly what this is), and _one_ way of getting there, and we mostly just flounder around until somebody just _happens_ to stumble across it.

The current game is getting better, however. I don't know about the week I was gone, but this past session we seemed to get _way_ more accomplished than we had in the past, and we even got an extra xp for it, too. Woot!

Jordan also says this is just the beginning of an _epic_ World of Darkness campaign, which will cross time periods and races. I saw him peeking at my Victorian Age books on Wednesday... *crosses fingers*

I spoke with him while I was there - he fully intends to bring it all the way to modern day.

*nods* that's what he said. It will be awesome if he can pull it off (plus it gives me hope that I'm someday going to play something other than goddamn Tremere.
