Lovely, hilarious stuff, as per usual.

I loved most of it, but I took grievous offence at where she said that Athenians had already agreed to Persian rule. Not only this is incorrect in terms of the movie, but it is so wildly and flagrantly historically inaccurate, not to mention insulting to Athens who kicked 24-carat Persian butt singlehandedly at Marathon and Salamis, and fought in the pan-Helenic army at Plataea. Someone pointed this out to her in the comments for which she just said it was easier to set up the cousin joke that way which I thought was just poor form, given that that city of philosophers and boy-lovers did more to resist the Persian invasion than other Greek city.

I'm done ranting now. I loved the rest of the parody :D

*facepalm* And the entire rant was rendered pointless by the fact she has since yesterday changed it. All is well in the world. Sorry for spamming your journal.

Yeah, I was just about to say that the way I read it this morning was that Athens had already given Persia the finger, in keeping with both history and the movie.
