thefictionary for the Notes on a Fridge (on a spaceship!) series yet? 'Cause they're just fantastic and hilarious. Notes among the crew (minus Inara, sadly) of Serenity on the fridge in the galley, and the author/artist has their voices down very nicely.

Homecoming, the fourth episode of the Firefly Virtual Season Two is absolutely wonderful. If you haven't been checking these out, go read at least this one; it's my favorite so far. Kaylee's family are just charming, we have squeefulness for River, and watch Jayne put his moves on Kaylee's mom! (No, seriously.)

Firefly/Highlander fic
My friend starfirenz has bowed to peer pressure and started writing the Firefly/Highlander crossover she teased us with (and which we on her flist shamelessly begged for) about a week ago. I very much like the concept - and the promise of Methos *swoon* - and I think it's coming together nicely so far.
Whee!! "Fireflylander". This is the Prologue. I'll link to new chapters as she puts them up; in the meantime I couldn't resist sharing.
She also asked me to let y'all know that this is her "first real fic, so I'm a complete feedback junkie."

freedom_is_what are making a Virtual Season Two for Firefly. The first "episode" goes up on January 4th. One of the staff members says, "We're writing new episodes, starting from where the series filmed up to and heading into the BDM. So, it's like glorified fanfiction - only bigger and with less non-canon shipping. LOL."Wheeeee!!
