From [livejournal.com profile] good2notbeking (cute name, btw), who is a new friend LJ-wise but probably one of the oldest real-life friends I have.

You Are Merlot

Smooth, confident, and popular - you're the type most likely to order wine for the whole group.

You seem to breeze through life on your intuition and wit. And no one seems to mind!

You're comfortable in any social situation you find yourself in, and you never feel outclassed.

And while you live a charmed life, you never let it go to your head. You are truly down to earth and a great friend.

Deep down you are: Balanced and mature

Your partying style: Surprisingly wild... when you let loose, you really let loose

Your company is enjoyed best with: Some greasy pizza

And while I was there I found this one amusing:

Your Nail Polish Color is Red

How you're unique: You have an incredible eye for style and art

Why your style rocks: You are classic and classy - and that's hot!

What this color says about you: "I'm smart, sassy, and sexy. And I know it."

because right now my nails are indeed red.

Thanks for the name shout-out. I may not be King anymore, but as the daughter of one I will always be a princess!

Yay new/old friend! LJ friends for 2 days, real life friends for... 20 years? We're not *really* that old, are we?!

Yay merlots! Though I would've pegged myself for a Zinfandel...

20+ right? Kindergarten, first grade? God we're old.

Well, I do prefer to drink merlot, but from its description I think it thinks I'm way more confident and classy than I am. Maybe I'm fooling myself? I did answer the questions honestly...

First grade. That's when I started Olinda. Plus I skipped kindergarten b/c I am so SMRT :)

I won't knock merlot but it certainly isn't my favorite. As California girls we should have been Zin!!!

SMRT indeed.

Is Zin even an option? I keep jiggling my answers but the only other results I get are pinot gris and chardonnay.

Maybe it isn't-- when I tried changing my answers I got Sauv Blanc & Pinot Noir.

Mmm, Sauv Blanc is yummy, too.

I agree-- probably my favorite white (I'm a red fan).

Are you a fellow wine-o?

[identity profile] janetlin.livejournal.com 2008-07-11 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
I'm generally a white wine girl, when I drink wine. With the notable exception of merlot (the only red I can stand). I prefer my alcohol sweeter & fruitier than wine tends to be. There's an Italian restaurant a few blocks away that makes an obnoxiously pink mango-berry martini and omg it's the best thing ever. My color-blind brother took a sip and went, "Whoa, that _tastes_ pink!"

Haha funny (about Andrew). I'm not a sweet fan, especially not for wine, but if sweet is your thing I could def recommend some sweeter wines for you, if you're interested.

Ooh, yes please. I never know what to order so I end up just sticking to the two or three that I know.
