Book love!

Okay, something not as depressing as my mediocre life rating...

I bought Knife of Dreams (# 11 in the Wheel of Time) and A Feast for Crows (# 4 in A Song of Ice and Fire) this weekend; two books I've been waiting for, and they come out within weeks of each other! *drools*

Now the dilemma is, which to read first?

Read Knife of Dreams, because it's on my list, too. And then you can spoil it for me.

I'd have to at least skim Crossroads of Twilight first, though, to remind myself of what the heck is going on. It's been much more recently that I read the prequel to A Feast for Crows. Hence my indecision.

That is a difficult choice. I wish you luck.

But I totally want to see whether or not Moiraine comes back, so I think I'll just deal with being a little confused about all the other stuff...

You made the right choice.

Ya wanna know one way or the other, when I find out?

My better third says no, but my evil two thirds doesn't want to wait to read it myself. So yes.

Will do, then.

How about the Crows first?

Was leaning that way, as it would take me longer to get caught up with Knife of Dreams because it's been longer since I played in that world. But, I'm particuarly curious as to what has befallen one of the characters in the Wheel of Time, whereas A Song of Ice and Fire... not so much was left burningly unresolved.

Suppose I could just read them both, but I don't generally read two "heavy" books at the same time, esp. not in the same genre.

Have you read either of these series?

Aaah, I must get you hooked!

heh - many have tried. Haven't been bothered as yet.

Well, we'll see how long you can resist when faced with hours of sitting in the house with my books while I'm at work...
