First midterm

My child development midterm was this morning. Apparently the only time the teacher informed the class it would be a Scantron test was during the first ten minutes of class on Wednesday (I was late). Thankfully someone had an extra; I'll have to buy her one. And hopefully the lead in my mechanical pencil is indeed #2. Though really, I think you have to go to a specialty art store or something, to get a pencil that _isn't_. Anyway. The teacher said we'd be done with it in half an hour. How long did it take me? Eight minutes. Seriously. But there were only 36 questions, all multiple choice and true/false, no short answers or definitions or essays. Awfully small for a midterm.

Not that I'm complaining, because it gave me extra time to get my Russian homework done (as here I am, 50 minutes until class time, and everything's done). Geez, what am I supposed to do with my free time, now? ;)

Oh dear, here is a person who has free time and doesn't know what to do with it...
Try to start learning one more language. That will help;-)))
But if serious, it sometimes happens that one has plenty of time and doesn't know what to do with it, and some time after that the usual situation comes beck when there is no time for most of things.
Well, a good filling for free time will be a cheesecake, I suppose.

Oh dear! I have looked at my profile and found that it really sais you can send a message. Never knew. Thank you very much. Do I need to install something specially on my computer, or it can all be done online? I have MSN messenger installed on my home computer, though I rarely use it. The reason is - it really gets you into it and takes too much time, distracts from everything else (at least for me it's very difficult to stop conversation and start doing some urgent things). And I'm always currently short of time. This is why prefer to communicate through LJ. Also, LJ can be used at work (where I am now) and instant messengers are too obvious;-))). But I promise to find out how that yahoo messenger works, maybe will be able to use it from home. That link in profile which says "add friend" - is that where I need to add your name?

I don't mind chatting through comments here in my journal, just apparently Alan's email thinks that comment notifications from LJ are spam, because he gets so many of them when you and I talk in his journal! lol

My MSN handle is googirl2k@hotmail.com. I'm on that and Yahoo pretty much all the time I'm home, though apparently I'm on a different schedule from most of my friends, because no one is online when I am! *pout*

I have a friend who says "cool bananas".
Is this to be adjusted for particular country? Bananas grow in NZ (I saw it myself), beans grow in USA (I guess they do)...

Cool beans or cool bananas, it's just a matter of preference. _I_ find that "cool beans" rolls off my tongue easier, so I say that.
