The one shiny moment from Tuesday (yes, there actually was one) is that Alan gave me a promise ring. Squeeeeeeee!! It's _so_ pretty and sparkly. It's an oval sapphire flanked by five small diamonds on each side. Sapphire is his birthstone and also the traditional gift for the fifth anniversary, and this month will be five years since we first met. Eeeesqueebounce!
