I acquired the rest of my schoolbooks today: the Russian text with its corresponding workbook which I couldn't find online, and the "course reader" for my Linguistics class that is kind of a home-made text, photocopied and spiral bound, which naturally would not be available anywhere other than the campus bookstore.

Four books I ordered from Amazon earlier this week: $153
Two books I bought in the bookstore today: $190

Crimes against humanity, I'm telling you. Sometimes this whole supply-and-demand thing is totally broken.
