I'm now home from my excursion to the frozen North. Sitting in my room in shorts and a tank top, enjoying the sunshine outside my window. I only slept for five hours last night/this morning; apparently I am teh fail at combatting jet lag. I miss Alan already, but that's to be expected. We're trying to figure out the logistics of our trip down to New Zealand in October (I'll finally get to meet, like, half the people on my flist), which helps with the missing - when I can see an end to it.

I'm looking forward to seeing Morgan when I pick her up from school this afternoon/evening. Mom says she's been doing really well with the potty-training and I can't wait to give her hugs and tell her what a big girl she is. 'Course now I need to work on scrambling for the money to get her the big-girl bed with Princess sheets I promised...
