(no subject)

What I went into Wal Mart this morning to buy:

*black flats
*knee-length black slip (all my slips are from back in the day when I was wearing _much_ shorter skirts than I do now)
*_maybe_ new boots

What I came home with:

*two black slips - one just above the knee, one just below
*two longish skirts - one solid grey, one black plaid
*one long-sleeved black knit tunic top (for the skirts)
*two black bras (for the new top)
*one short-sleeved brown knit top that only buttons to mid-rib and therefore needs:
*one cream-colored camisole
*brown low-rise slacks (which omg are actually flattering)
*v-neck shirt to go with brown slacks
*v-neck shirt same style as above but in shades of blue ('cause I can't completely escape my tendency toward blue)
*Disney princess trick-or-treat basket for Morgan

... I only remembered as I was driving away that I had intended to go down to Evangeline's in Old Sac and get a new Halloween costume with the remainder of my latest paycheck afterwards. What remainder? Eh well. Real clothes will serve me better in the long run, anyway. I've been getting tired of my lack of diversity in cool-weather clothes.
