Check me out!
May. 19th, 2008 08:22 pmSome guy totally tried to hit on me today. I was in Borders, trying to pick out a wedding planner, and this guy was sort of lurking around the end of the row I was in. I figured he was looking at foreign language stuff and didn't think much of his presence. Then eventually he walks over to me and asks, "So are you reading anything interesting lately?" and I was like huhwha?
"No, I'm just... trying to pick a wedding planner," I replied, holding up the one I had in my hands.
"Oh, wedding planner. I guess that means you're engaged, huh?"
"Yeah, we're getting married in January."
"Well, I don't want to interfere with your relationship, so I'll just... hope you have fun planning." and he walked away.
Why does no one hit on me when I'm single?! Not that I'm really bemoaning any lost opportunity with this particular guy, but in general.
So I walked up to the register and texted Alan as I was standing in line. He laughed and asked me if I got the guy's number. :p
Oh, and also, a guy checked me out on the last day of class. I was wearing this navy blue and white polka-dot dress, with sort of an empire waist and princess seams, a little above knee-length. Not particularly showy, but it is flattering. So I walked into British Lit and I swear he actually looked me up and down. I've never actually caught a guy _looking_ before, you know? That's kind of neat. I wish there'd been another day of class so I could wear something flirty and see if he looked at me again.
