Nov. 9th, 2009 08:47 pm16k today. That's 1,000 over the overall goal for today, and only 600-someodd short of the goal for tomorrow. Gee, think I'll make it? Okay, maybe I ought not to joke about that, 'cause who knows what might happen.
Dina and the Green Man (whose name begins with a B, apparently) have hooked up, though after four pages of foreplay suddenly they dropped the curtain on me. How rude. That's hundreds of words they just deprived me of. Grr. Somehow the other women found out and pressed Dina for information. You know, for purely scientific reasons. ;) Poor thing was mortified.
Also, the Lorekeeper has enlisted the aid of the Poet in composing easy-to-memorize (and thus teach and learn) histories. Right now it's pretty much just what happened to their home planet and the resulting exodus, and the Fall itself. She's suggested he gather info from everybody, because each person is likely to have a different take on life on the ships, so if he's really ambitious he might end up writing a song for each of them. I do _not_ want to take the time to write all these frakking poems! Placeholders, ahoy!
