You worked harder than any other student in this course, and your percentage was the top score in the class. The work done on the portfolio was certainly enough to bring the grade up to an A-. The introductory reflection was articulated well and contains much of value in terms of perspective, advice to other writers, personal aspirations. Congratulations. I truly enjoyed having you in class and would very much like to hear from you in the future. When your work is published, be sure to send me a copy so I can post it in a prominent location and everyone else can recognize your talent."

I have not gotten a grade like that in an academic class in a _very_ long time.
