Almost like winning the lottery...

As I was last-minute frantically cleaning last night, I found a paycheck from early May which I had not cashed. Woot! It's nothing very big, since it was from after tax season, but still, that's $$$ I didn't have before. Maybe alphadsnz_fb and I will see Superman tonight, if he isn't too wiped from the flight.

And we're counting in _hours_, now. After four years, it's down to a matter of hours. Oh. My. God. This is really happening. I'm actually going to see him again. Holy shit.

He's here! (And taller than I remembered; what a pleasant surprise) He arrived safe and sound and got through customs much faster than either of us expected - which was a good thing because attempting to read while I was waiting for him in the airport was _so_ not happening. He's zonked out upstairs at the moment (though even on New Zealand time it isn't normal sleeping hours). Will write more when I'm home on my own computer that doesn't charge $0.50/min.
