Nov. 18th, 2007 12:17 amOMFG. For some reason, Alan counting down the weeks and days in each of his letters to me this past month hadn't really sunk in. Three weeks, yadda yadda. Two weeks and so-many days, yeah, yeah.... and then just tonight I looked at my ticker on my userinfo. FIFTEEN DAYS. O.M.G. Fifteen days. Oh fu*king lord. My house is not remotely ready for company in fifteen days! Thank God I wiggled out of hosting Thanksgiving (which is this coming Thursday; has that snuck up on anyone else, too, or is it just me lately?).
It occurs to me that this is the longest we've ever gone without each other's company. Not counting the initial four years, because that hardly counts. No wonder I'm... well, anyway. It will be very very nice to have him here again. Morgan's teachers tell me that she's been excitedly telling them that "her" Alan is coming to see her again for a couple weeks now.
