Groundhog day
Feb. 2nd, 2008 05:25 pmSix more weeks of winter. Yarg. Judging just by today, though, I totally believe it.
In nicer news, last night I and Morgan and Rew had dinner with fruitbat_folks, and today we met with both sets of parents for lunch so they could meet each other, and that seemed to go well. Morgan has been absolutely lovely with them. I worried for a while that she might be shy and awkward about meeting them, as small children generally are when faced with new people. Not my girl. They came with me to pick her up from school yesterday, and Morgan walked right up to fruitbat_mum and showed off the picture of a shadow puppet she'd been working on, and chattered with her in the backseat of my car all the way home. I really am unaccountably blessed to have such a good-natured child.
Tomorrow we're going to the zoo, since thus far what we've been doing together have been grownup things, so now we'll do a Morgan thing. Hopefully the weather will stay agreeable.
