NaNo update

I reached the goal of 3,333 words for the end of Sunday. Thirteen minutes late, but considering that I made up the ~1k words I was behind from Saturday, I feel pretty good. So now I have a more accurate idea of how long it takes to write the daily allotment of 1,667 words. Whew. Wednesdays (game nights and counseling sessions) are going to be an issue, but I've also proven that I'm capable of writing _more_ than the daily allotment, so I should be able to pick up the slack on other days.

The forums and pep talks say that days 2 and 3 are when the "Oh god why did I ever sign up for this?!!" sets in, but I'm feeling all right. Just like smug Prince Humperdinck there. Here's hoping things go better for me than they did for him.

So the goal for today was 5000 words. Am currently sitting at 6030. *is smug* I know that Luc and Cissa have an annoying tendency to take _forever_ to get it on, already, but I didn't expect it would take quite that much. Yeesh. Though I can hardly complain, when it carries me most of the way through the goal for _tomorrow_. I might need this nice buffer zone someday.
