Nov. 4th, 2008 07:40 pmSo I was a good citizen today. And since Morgan came with me she got a sticker too. All the poll workers thought that was the most wonderful thing and thanked us both profusely and told her what a good citizen she is, and she was just looking around like, "y'all are crazy, but thanks for the sticker!"
Once again I gave the electoral college system the finger, and my vote isn't going to count for jack and you-know-what, but no one can tell me I can't complain for the next four years because I didn't vote.
Show of hands: how many of y'all were aware there was a WOMAN running for President before you looked at your ballots? Heck, even after you looked at your ballot. My brother, who voted before I did, was shocked when I mentioned it. We've _got_ to get over this two-party b.s.
EDIT: Well, that was shockingly anticlimactic. The only thing that surprises me is that some people are acting surprised.
