Alan left his lunch on the kitchen table when he left for work today, so I call up his work to see if he wants me to bring it now or wait for his lunch break.

Some guy: "Thank you for calling (Alan's work), this is customer service, how can I help you?"

me: "Can I speak to Alan (Lastname) please?"

him: "Sure, just a minute."

me: *on hold*

some other guy: "This is Bob, how can I help you?"

me: "Um, I was looking for Alan (Lastname)."

him: "Oh, okay, sure."

me: *on hold*

him again: "Were you looking for the Stockton number?"

me: (WTF?) "No, I was looking for my husband, ALAN (LASTNAME)." (yeesh, dude)

him: "Yeah, I know, hold on." (if you know, why did you just ask me if I wanted a completely different store?)

I dunno if they're busy or what but that's kind of ridiculous. JUST GIVE ME MY GODDAMN HUSBAND ALREADY!!
