I don't have anything particularly profound to reflect upon from 2007. I made some questionable (as per usual) life decisions; got a new stamp in my passport; oh, my divorce went through and I got my name back; made my personal goal of reading 24 books this year (in another post). I don't yet know my grades from the fall semester, which is somewhat nerve-wracking, but I think I did okay... ?
Similarly no great aspirations for 2008, other than looking forward to meeting Alan's family and friends (in two weeks, eeeee!). Hopefully we can manage to scrape together enough money and/or airline miles to get us to Britain to see David Tennant and Patrick Stewart in Hamlet in the late summer/fall. Johnnie wants Morgan for the entire month of October, which, yeah, no. I might trade him Christmas if Alan and I are able to get down to NZ to spend Christmas with his family for once.
