Still more productivity

I've emptied three of the boxes in the bedroom, resulting in two garbage bags full of just paper for the recycle bin. Damn I keep a lot of paper. Mostly these were school work from Cottey, but I finally admitted - am I _really_ ever going to consult my History of Medieval Europe or Introduction to Shakespeare notes? No, not really. So out they go. I have about 3/4 of a box worth of "keep" stuff on my bed, neatly separated into piles, and when the piles get big enough they'll get their own boxes, to be labeled with WHAT'S ACTUALLY IN THEM instead of just where in my last bedroom the stuff came from. I might be able to actually find things in the future. How novel!
Speaking of finding things, my happiest discovery tonight was my A Writer's Book of Days, which has writing prompts for every day of the year. I've been looking for this _forever_ and I had thought it disappeared into Dad's house and never even made it down to Sacramento. Yes, that means that box has been through two moves without being unpacked. *facepalm*
In this industrious and organized vein, I've resolved that Alan and I are going to Ikea tomorrow to buy some frakking shelves to put above the second desk in the bedroom. This is something Mom and I have intended to do since I moved _in_ here almost two years ago. I've kind of been waiting for her to remember and offer to pay for them, but it's finally bothering me enough that I'm *gasp* taking some initiative.
Also I did the check-up call to the doctor. Everything is progressing as it should but she still wants me to call tomorrow also. I told her about my forehead hurting like a sunburn and she said she'd never heard of that but surmised it was related to the fever just like I have so *shrug* Onward with the ibuprofen and hot honey and lemon drink!
