Nov. 19th, 2006 07:58 amNot so happy as an almost-success with potty-training: Morgan climbed out of her crib yesterday morning.
I heard her chattering, which is normal. She lays in bed and talks to her dolls for a while in the morning, and then when she wants me to come get her she actually calls me. So I hear her talking and think nothing of it, and then I hear her doorknob jiggle. Huhwtf? "Mommy, you help open?" So I go and open her door and there she is, standing on the other side with her hand on the knob, and she proudly informs me, "Morgan's wake up." But how the hell did she get down? I never heard a thump on the floor, or her crib rattling, just talking and then the doorknob. Yikes.
Guess this is a good reason to be better about putting her shoes on every night. Though if she's determined to get out and she attempts it with her shoes, she will certainly fall down, which isn't a nice thought.
